would be nice to see but I wouldn't bet on it. Hasbro already said that Trakker was going to be it for MASK...

Speaking of the Trakker figure... I wish they woulda designed his mask more accurately. The original's design is not just CLASSIC, it is also a marvel of aesthetics!

I miss MASK. I'd love to see them released again in Joe scale. Seems to be the hot trend nowadays, which is cool by me. I use to LOVE those things when I was a kid.

I would be myself. I just think having the vehicles also would be amazing. Or at least ONE per side. A "test bed" if you will, a prototype, of potential military tech. Quote:
Question: Did Hasbro have to pay for licenses back in the day for the use of real car/truck designs? Cuz, while Trakker's vehicle sure looks like a Camaro 3rd gen, perhaps there was some legal "way out" of it since it didn't really say "Camaro 3rd gen" anywhere, right? (I really don't remember).
On the other hand, one thing Hasbro could consider -taking into account the actual 3 3/4 craze- is a line of "80's heroes and villains". Not necesarily a sub-set of the G.I.Joe line (but if it has to be, then why not). You could have characters from M.A.S.K. and many other toons, all part of the same revival line. Wishful thinking here. Hell, I want Mattel to do that too with their properties. 1/18th scale He-Man please! Thundercats, ho! I'm right there with you, wishfully thinking. ;) But to your other question: Kenner did MASK. Laws were different in the 80s also. But so long as you don't look EXACT, you can get away with something fairly close to a known car. Without paying for it. I'm sure Hasbro (they bought out Kenner in the 90s) can't simply reissue the old MASK vehicles, due to license law chances since (and they were at like, 2" scale figs), but if they wanted, Hasbro could make new vehicles close to the old ones, but not exact. And at bigger scale. |

id be down for some new mask toys, id buy them all. even if they didnt upgrade the figures to 3 3/4th size they could atleast give the figures better articulation. it would prolly be easier for them to make if they did that, but who knows if the molds still exist. anyone know?

I wasn't too interested in MASK, back at those days.
I remember that i used the vehicles from a friend for my Joes, but i liked the small figures. I would like to see them in a 25th model. Looking thru my stuff i have a guy that looks like a Dreadnok (piranha?) twice, another like...another dreadnok (a kind of punk, with only one glove...amazing sculpt btw), a guy with black glasses and yellow suit, and a guy that has a leather jacket but is painted in green and yellow and has a yellow mask (the only helmet i have, so far). I also have an orange cycle, and a violet cycle and sidecar (those are from piranha iirc?) I don't have the slightlest clue who they are, i can't remember. |

I think the punk with the one glove is Bruno SHepard who came with an orange GTO. The yellow guy with shades is Brad Turner who came with the green motorcycle. Not sure on who the yellow and green guy is. Maybe Matt Trakker from the Jungle pack?

I think re releasing another toyline would have negative effects for us Joe fans. The general view is negativity toward the new Joe movie toys. IF Hasbro revived something like Mask and it caught on at the same time that Joe sales dipped, it could cause Hasbro to abandon Joe toys all together. I want more 25th Anniversary stuff. I don't need every singel toy from the 80s reproduced.
