Great idea! I also hope the figures themselves would get a little more paint on their faces

I love MASK and would die happy if they gave the line some new attention. I don't see it happening. The cost for vehicle rights alone would make it extremely costly and I wouldn't want to see fictional vehicles made just for that reason. I'm okay with leaving great things in the past but the Trakker figure definitely got my attention and re-imagining it all in 4" scale is pretty cool.

I don't know, it could happen. There are an awful lot of 25th anniversary lines popping up. Joes, Transformers, MOTU, Turtles, etc.

M.A.S.K.s should be joe sized in my opinion.
I mean with Hasbro's marvel line and gi joe using similar parts. It wouldn't be that hard to tool up a few mask figures. We know they love to cut corners and make money and most of the M.A.S.K. figs could be from existing marvel/joe parts with new heads and helmets. Matt Trakker was just the tip of the iceburg. But I've already They could also do several vehicle assortments: Alpha/delta/etc. since the mask vehicles vary from small to large. I'd love to see it eventually. But I've already made my Brad Turner. |

Make MASK as GI Joe size, and I'd be happy.
Make MASK a subgroup of GI Joe? Hell yeah, that'd be awesome. I mean, VENOM, COBRA...obviously VENOM is one of COBRA's special teams. ;) |

All of this (and what I'm missing) in JOE scale would rock:
Even the small roadside playsets would be cool. I'd like to see new versions of the same updated vehicles as well along with a few classics. Last edited by EDGEFIND; 02-11-2009 at 01:01 AM.. |

I agree. What made MASK so interesting besides the transforming cars was the fact that the good guys looked as cool as the bad guys. Hell, if they made a 3 3/4 Turner, you could army build him as use him as "Wasp trooper".
Gi joe looks cool. But each mask character is like TRON and a Cobra Viper had a baby and both sides are equally awesome looking. |

Question: Did Hasbro have to pay for licenses back in the day for the use of real car/truck designs? Cuz, while Trakker's vehicle sure looks like a Camaro 3rd gen, perhaps there was some legal "way out" of it since it didn't really say "Camaro 3rd gen" anywhere, right? (I really don't remember).
On the other hand, one thing Hasbro could consider -taking into account the actual 3 3/4 craze- is a line of "80's heroes and villains". Not necesarily a sub-set of the G.I.Joe line (but if it has to be, then why not). You could have characters from M.A.S.K. and many other toons, all part of the same revival line. Wishful thinking here.

The current issue of Tomart's Action Figure Digest has images from MASK vehicle boxes. Great memories!
