OLD Marvel Universe 3.75" figures

Not sure if this has been stated already but the Marvel Universe 3.75 figures are up for pre-oreder from BBTS.Series one is a set of 12 including:1x Wolverine
1x Silver Surfer
1x Human Torch
1x Punisher
2x Classic Spider-Man
1x Iron Man
1x Daredevil
1x Black Panther
1x Bullseye
1x Stealth Iron Man
1x Burning Human Torch

This set of 12 will be shipped as a sealed case.
This case is $99.99 and will be due out in Feb.

obviously, i don't quite now how it works with discounts and whatever, but it really bothers me when BBTS sells sealed full cases for more than MSRP per figure (assuming they MSRP for $7.99 ala SW and Joes...)

Well considering there are 12 figs in the case at $8.00 a piece thats $96.00.Not to far off from BBTS $99.00.

Hmm, I wonder if those will be compatible with 25th Joes for customs...I'm getting ideas involving wolverine's lower arms and some robo-ninjas...

I think the idea is cool but there are some figures in that assortment I can do without. I guess I'll wait until they hit retail and take a look at their overall look and quality before I bite on a whole case...

yeah ~ it's 8.33 a figure ~ it's not that big of deal, but in theory (again i don't know) they are buying them for less then MSRP, and selling a sealed case means their handling fee is essentially $0. It's just one of their practices thats bugged me for a while. ~ i get it on opened figures (i.e. Army builders and popular characters are going to sell more, so they have to offset it), but on sealed cases it seems shifty.
