Well, I guess I'm less of a geek then I thought. I didn't recognize over half those names on the list. If I had it my way my top 5 would be:
Thor Falcon Mysterio Rhino Shocker |

i didn't recognize a lot them, either. i voted for:
Archangel Havoc Beast Captain Britain Quasar i will be shocked if more than 1 of those actually ends up as a winner. seems to me that a lot of people on these sorts of poles vote for predominantly female characters. |

I saw these in my local comic shop yesterday but they wanted $11.99 each of them.
Anybody know how much are they gonna be at TRU, Target and Walmart? |

The funny thing is the more obscure the character the higher the risk it becomes of being a peg warmer. Before you all go hooting and hollering think about it for a second. The vast majority of the buying public will gravitate towards recognizable characters (myself included). Spider-Man, Iron man and Captain America are expected and some of the lesser known second tier characters are always welcome (Falcon or Scorpion for example) but when you throw a list out consisting of third and fourth tier characters then just who exactly is the target audience for this line comes into question. Is it geared strictly toward the collector or the general public? I love Marvel just as much as the next guy and would love to see most of them in 3 3/4" scale but c'mon now....Paper Bag Spidey???? We all cried for years for Hasbro to make that fat chick with four boobs from Jabbas palace.....have you seen how many are cluttering the pegs?
