I've been a few times, but this is actually going to be my first time to the actual "Media Day"/Slide Show presentations. My first visit was 1998, the year of the first EU Star Wars figures. They had a strict no pics rule and I managed to snap the first pics of Thrawn and Dark Empire Luke. This was quite possibly the best of them all. Hasbro actually had theire on space/building across the street from the old Toy Center and the Star Wars setup alone was made up of multiple rooms, each displaying a different component of the line, figures, vehicles, role-play, etc. the best was at the very end, they had a store point of purchase display, with figure packages & mock ups. (I'll see if I can find any of those old pics.) Then I've been off and on every couple of years. Honestly they all tends to blend together, but the display space gets smaller and smaller, to the point where Hasbro no longer has the building and they rent space. the room size and stuff they display gets smaller and smaller and quite honestly, what they do now for SDCC/NYCC is much, much bigger than anything you'd see at Toy Fair.

Hoping to see some good stuff from Hasbro for the MU line this weekend! It would be nice to see the remaining 16 movie "items" as well.

My brother in law works for the toy car company Maisto (?) and he's going to toy fair. Too bad it's not a public event and there's no exclusives he can get the inside track to this time. :(

Hopefully with all of the movie stuff and the RML being such a big thing there will be more on display this year than the past few years.
I really want to see some of those prototype MU and ML painted and on display, plus some reveals. It all seems pretty good leading up though, with the Transformers reveals on facebook, the G.I. Joe reveals, the hints at MU, etc. I'm excited.

I have a long term girlfriend and lots of school debt acruing, I think it probably balances out, lol.
Does anyone else find it funny we're looking at two new waves of Marvel Legends before any new Marvel Universe? I don't mind, I just find it interesting. Also, anyone know a good street clothes Marvel Legends body? I'm trying to think of what I can do to make a regular Daken since he's rarely ever in any of his costumes. Just looked at them all. Probably closest thing to street clothes in the line wold be Longshot, Punisher (paint the skull), Motorcycle Logan (looking too much like daddy then EDIT: See BS's post), or Professor X (prob not for a Dakken though). I would go with a painted Punisher.
