Look at a kids Marvel Superheros T-shirt and you will most likely see "classic" style characters mixed with "Ultimate" style characters and "Modern" style characters etc etc. Marvel has been going so long and played around with so many characters (what other choices were there?) that its all kinda mish mashed

Anyone else bothered by the "pinheads" on the Sheild Agents? Picked up a few of the TRU 3-packs in anticipation of getting a IM2 Nick Fury. Placing them w/ Joes, though, makes the off-scaling really noticeable.
I'm trying to come up w/ solutions. So far, I replaced one w/ an extra ROC Hawk head I had. Another fix I'm contemplating is to sand down the head so the Steel Brigade Helms from the ROC Pit Commados can go over them. Any one else tried something? Is there a palce ai can just get 25th style heads? |

Not really. The style sheets are usually quite specific and consistent. They tend toward either all classic or all modern. You'll get an occasional licensing oddity like the X-Men coloring book that came out in the early 00's which used original costumes only appearing in that publication but otherwise they keep it together to maintain brand recognition.

Are you sure it's Ultimate Wolverine? Marvel unified his costume throughout its media circa 2002. The Ultimate, 616, cartoon, and video game versions all sported the same costume. This in combination with Hulk's generally unchanging look makes me think you might have confused an all-modern merchandise art with something mixed.
