Hello All! I recently enjoyed a visit to an awesome museum and thought i'd share the pictures and a review with you. Enjoy!
My wife and I had an opportunity to go through the Toy and Action Figure Museum located in Pauls Valley, OK. When traveling on I-35 the museum is well signed and there are multiple signs to take you right to the museum located on a nice downtown street right next to a great fifty's cafe. When entering the museum there is a nice toy shop in the very front. After paying a very reasonable fee of $6 ($4 senior citizens) you enter the museum and are immeadiately taken back by one of the "gems" of the entire facility, the bedroom diorama! It is a life size diorama of the bedroom of an adult toy collector complete with a bed, desk, furniture, etc... Every inch of the bedroom is OVERUN by toys. The toys are all mixed to display hundreds or thousands of unique imaginative combinations. You could spend hours looking at this one display searching for all the hidden "Easter eggs." Anything from Rocky Balboa boxing Superman; Captain Picard talking to the Jedis inside the Millenium Falcon while the Halo Master Chief is getting ready to enter; Elvis and Nirvana jamming out together on the KISS stage; Zealot, Storm, Bane, and a dinosuard invading Pee Wee's playhouse; The Savage Dragon interrogating Cobra Commander ontop of a Star Trek Shuttle craft; Rambo teaming up with Underdog; a Rancor, Alien, and other monsters scaling the GI Joe Adventure Team Tower; and a medival knight teaming up with a GIJOE Skystriker; just to name a few... The museum is very creative and well thought out. There is a hall of fame mentioning many Oklahomans involved in toys, actions figures, comics and the like. There is also a Action Figure hall of fame where they choose a featured toyline for each year to display. Past years were anything from 12" GI Joe, to 3.75" GI Joe, Transformers, Star Wars, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, etc... I believe the current one was Thundercats. As you continue through the museum the current layout includes a massive Batcave loaded with any kind of Batman toy or collectible that you could imagine. From a bag of Batman Tortilla Chips to a Batman electric trainset to a coin operated Batmobile ride, it can be found in the Batcave! Also there is a great collection of cowboy toys, books, toy guns, etc... ranging from Roy Rogers, Lone Ranger, Gene Autry and more. An of course the '80's Collection. A large variety of samples of 80's action figure lines including: GI Joe, DC Super Powers, Thundercats, Masters of the Universe, Transformers, California Raisins, Smurfs, and more! Countless other displays featuring memorabila from Star Wars, Star Trek, Army of Darkness, Lord of the Rings, Marvel Universe, DC Comics, Cy Girl, and many many more! There are two very large dioramas of 12" GI Joe and WW2 era action figures and equipment with Captain America leading the way fighting against German soldiers. The museum has a play room with bins and bins of toys for the kiddos to play with completely decked out as a superhero base with it's own kid friendly transporter pad! And there is even a photo prop to get your picture taken as your friendly museum Spiderman! Another interesting display is a large assortment of the 1990's line of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toy line. At the end of our tour we were pleasantly greeted with Kevin Stark, the curator of the museum. Kevin was extremely nice and full of energy. In talking with Kevin, he designed the 1990's line of TMNT, Toxic Crusaders, and more. He is a toy designer, artist, resturant owner, with alot of diverse talents. http://www.actionfiguremuseum.com/Ke...tark%20bio.pdf We took his picture infront of the TMNT display and asked if we could post the pictures on HissTank.com - G.I. Joe Toy and Movie News and Discussion and he was very plesant about it. Unfortunately, our enjoyable talk ended up in a lightsaber duel. After re-attaching my arm, we kindly left the property. I highly reccomend the Toy and Action Figure Museum, it was alot of fun for all ages, and Kevin will welcome you with open arms, just stay away from the light sabers... -Marty, Oklahoma The Toy & Action Figure Museum Kevin's tour

I have the perfect reaction image for this thread, but I can't post it because it's of a boner.
So I will simply say that this is amazing, and that the adult collector room was quite accurate, although I do not have sheets like that...just a headboard being made that's shaped like the 70s Bat-symbol, but I digress.
