I had started collecting action figures when I saw a Zartan from the 25th line on the pegs at Wal-Mart when I walked by it. I still had my old 80's Joes. I started picking up some vintage stuff and all the new stuff. (would love that crimson con set from this year...but damn that thing is pricey) I have always been a comics nerd wrote reviews, got an opportunity to write for Inquest before Wizard publications shot it down, and still read about 30 titles a month for the last 20 years. (almost all Marvel) One day on the Wizard Universe message boards one of the toy peeps posted images from sdcc or toyfair or something and I knew that I was in love. MU was my dream come true; comics and GI joe had a baby and it was sexy. I started picking up the ones I wanted for myself and then just got some for my son. He got into those more than joes. Heck other than the old HQ and my dreadnoks I sold or traded all my vintage stuff to make sure between the two of us we have a complete set. Then they came out with 30 iron men and spidermen I I gave up on being a completist. I just get the ones I like. Now I want to learn to customize.

Nothing is worse than turning somone's brown eye blue It is easy to see how you can do that. They aren't impressive. They are rehashes with the exception of Sentry. From what I've seen only about 1/10 have decent paint aps. Most look like Tori Speling or sloth from the goonies. Quote:
You can watch all the episodes with great quality on the marvel website for free right now. X-Men video channel at Marvel.com Quote:

I live in WA so uh...I hope the skins thing was sarcasm. The Seahawks fans drive me nuts up here. They will make every excuse in the world for Matt HACKleback. But I have an interview at IU in January. I would have to get season tickets beint that close to Colts Mecca. (I told my wife the same thing for if I got to Ferris State in MI too.)

HELL NO! I'm a good American. Like all good Americans I await every football season to watch the blue and white take the field with #18 at the helm and a lucky horseshoe on their heads.

Actually I thought you were from the DC area, must be the 8 AAs from NYCC. I'm still kinda reeling from the Superbowl loss. That's cool that you might be coming to IU. My wife graduated from there. I'm actually not that far from Bloomington. You should PM me when you're in town. Seahawks are in a crappy division so there's a chance to make the playoffs. I'll be rooting for our revenge this Monday against the Texans.
Yeah I hope they win. I do wonder who the TE replacing Clark will be. No Sanders, Bullit, or Clark hurts a little, probably Clark and his 100 receptions will be missed the most. I think Manning will lead them to victory. I never count on a perfect season, and you win I add up how many victories I expect at the begining of the season I usually put 3 losses in the column for away division games. Most teams usually split division rivalry games anyway. Arian Foster is way sick though and he sets up the Texan's play action vary well. He is an Adai/LT type back that can catch as well. Watch this Monday how many play actions get dumped right to Foster this week. It is as consistant as Manning and his 7 yard slant to Wayne. Yeah I want to go to IU, Ferris State, or UM Saint Louis for the cost of living. The Army HPSP scholarship for optometry school pays $65,000 for books tuition and fees, and gives a 1,900/month stipen. So state schools are more affordable and the cost of living in the Middle states is managable with that much coming in. So I won't have to work while in school hopefully. The other two schools in the running are Midwestern in Arizona (ruckusjr territory), and Pacific U in Oregon. Cost of living is more, but they are both private schools under the schoolarship amount. I just wish the money I didn't spend was given to me...lol If I could just figure out how to make action figures a school expense I'll be set. (any ideas on how to relate optometry to toys guys?)
