About the SDCC Galactus and the battery issue. Though I don't have one, I'd assume that the battery compartment is on the back. Would it be possible to just make an incision in the card and remove the batteries without totally taking the blister off the card? This way, from the front at least, the thing still looks unaltered and a nice display piece.

I ended up buying the Marvel Legends BAF Galactus series, when it originally came out. Just so I had him to display with my superhero showdown Silver Surfer.
He is a great display piece but light up Galactus seems a lot cooler. |

Man, forget the rumors. Nothing but a bunch of Chicken Littles screaming that the sky is falling. Do you even know what kind of battery is inside of Galactus? Because that will dictate what type of corrosion you will see and give you a time frame for the battery's shelf life.

Sounds like an X-Men site, boo. I never understood how even though they are just a small fraction of the Marvel Universe, they have the most popularity. I guess better than DC where everything is being carried by 3 characters and their extended families (except these days I would replace WW w/ GL in terms of company carrying). I do confess, that although I was not a fan, I bought the entire Jim Lee run because he knew how to draw women - the days before Internet, so Dark Ages.
