Hey now, the Tiger Claw was only $22 shipped.
A multi pack would be perfect. I wish all of the army builders could be done that way too. I know the small little fact that history has shown them to sit on the shelves collecting dust but, still, I'd buy it. What more proof do they need? Heh. Agreed, but in this age of online exclusives, I'm sure Hasbro could've worked out a deal. Either way, opportunities missed, eh? I think I saw a Mega Bloks MK V on the Target or KMart site that looked pretty neat. But that's something else I don't need to start collecting. |

For those of you looking to fill holes in your collection, TRU.com just posted listings for a number of MU figures from Waves 4 and the recently released new Wave 5, including Multiple Man, Mystique, and Captain Britain. Type in 'Iron Man' as your search inquiry for better results to see what they've just added. I know it's a crap shoot seeing as how it's TRU and their listings are sometimes screwy but it's better then nothing for some of us who are hard up to fill holes in our collections.
Funny thing was my neurosis about having to pay shipping and handling kicked in, so I decided to see if it would be cheaper if I $75 of stuff and get the free shipping. At first it was just going to be a test. However, after getting 2 of everything I wanted, plus 3 Multiple Men, it ended up being just shy of $73 dollars. I figured the sales tax would put me over, but the system checks the threshold before applying sales tax. At this point my bill with tax and shipping was $80 This required me to fix the quantities ordered and add some other figures that I did not really want to see if I can get the 11 needed to go over $75. I finally did, but I am not too happy with the overall mix though since at one point, I was just randomly "upping" the number ordered by 1. Any way ended up with $90, and at that point was tired with the lack of an edit feature in the TRU checkout and having to go back to the beginning to fix my order. Very clever of the TRU web designer - or very incompetent. Any one else have a problem with shipping and handling as adding cost to the figures. To be fair TRU only charges $7.00 since they go by USPS, and so if I limited by order to 7 it would have only been a $1 extra for figure. But I am math retarded. OH well, I'll just return the extra ones to the store if I can. |

Yeah, shipping & handling sucks out of the continental US; i used to live in the Philippines before moving to Cali. However, I thought USPS is advertising a flat rate for priority mail where if it fits in in their Flat-Rate Box it ships for the price of the box; obviously bigger boxes have higher prices, but at least weight is no longer considered. I am tempted to ship bricks all over just to test out their commitment to the program. Lol!

true that Hicks...true dat!
Luna...yeah the small flat rate boxes are great for shipping single figs...it's like they were meant for single cards...with the exception of the bulky characters like Hulk and Thor. $5 for the small...$10 and change for the medium. |

sorry man. I actually placed my order and about an hour later thought "oh, dang, I should go back and order a few extras for the guys since it adds minimal extra shipping", but then they were sold out!

Managed to get four Captain Britains, a Mystique, and a Team X Wolverine. Don't really care for Ultimate Madrox.

looks like they still have plenty of Madrox in stock. That is about it though. Guess a lot of people that aren't in the 'know' aren't interested in the fig.
