Loved the hell out of the show. Was pissed the toys didn't accurately reflect it and generally were kinda cheap pieces of crap.
I just hope this line isn't a NECA collector-oriented line (which I fear it will be), but time will tell. Interesting to see this is really moving forward...I kinda figured it'd be in development hell for a long time when I first heard about the project. |

I would be afraid if they made vehicles for CP. So the "collectors" who beg for them, when they hit retail scream "too expensive, I will wait until they go on clearance or go to Ross."
That seems to be the trend with toylines and vehicles. "Collectors" beg and say they want them. But decide clearance is better and will hold off. That can't help out a new toyline. I remember people said they were going to buy the new TC Thundertank. Yeah, that didn't happen and people waited until clearance. |

This line would be cool, but all those vehicles... I'm running out of ceiling space to hang jets from.

I think you must have a balance between toy and collector item. Joes IMO are the best balance. Honeslt the sky stryker was a bad example. too big too fancy no one bought it. I honestly dont know why thundercats failed? Great Show the toys were bandi which is ok at best but hell no one stops buying ben 10 and power rangers! so I guess that company is ok. I do kinda like the bandi does vechicles there not super fancy but cool enough to warrant the pickup. If they hit clearence its ok cause its not like its 50 dollar toy selling for 10 dollars. I would like to see that plan used here for captain power. Though I hope bandi doesnt have the deal!

The original Captain Power vehicles weren't all that big, and they were mainly big due to their gimmicks(which weren't all that bad). Who knows? Maybe the new vehicles(if they are made), will find that fine balance between gimmicks, detail, sculpt and size and be "just right".
