Yeah, I'm at the point where I have to lift my glasses to read close-up codes. I DON'T NEED BIFOCALS!
And those 5-packs are great. I love that the Imaginext line isn't just doing Batman/Superman/Wonder Woman stuff and is including some more obscure characters in the line-up. BTW, Hasbro - via PlaySkool - has also released lines of bagged Marvel and Transformers SD-style figures, although they're not blind-bagged and you can see which characters you're getting. The Optimus Prime one is huge!

They're not exactly the same but I just did a Review of Hasbro's equivalent Spider-Man. I'm not as impressed with the Marvel Super Hero Adventures figures but they're pretty cool versions of the characters, so if you dig Marvel then you'll certainly dig these toys.

That Figures: REVIEW: Marvel Super Hero Adventures Spider-Man The kids have a handful of those as well. Aside from them being slightly shorter, they play pretty well with the Imaginext stuff. The vehicles are cool, but no where near as durable as the Imaginext ones. I still feel that these are worth checking out. Great review. |

Yeah, I can see them as a fun alternative to the Imaginext line but I prefer the chunky feel of the latter.

Stopped in Target and saw Green Arrow. I grabbed him for X-Mas. They also had Grodd, a Flash/Aquaman 2-pack, WW and invisible jet, Black Manta and sub, Superman and Darkseid. Looks they're loaded and ready for the holiday season.
For those who haven't seen him, here is Green Arrow. Not my photo I didn't know they made him until I saw the figure display in the isle. I started looking and found it. |
