I'm pretty sure they put out a decently sized (for 4" figures) version of "The Tumbler" back when The Dark Knight came out. I don't think they re-released it for TDKR though.
If you don't mind it being a one-man, smaller vehicle, there was a smaller version of said tumbler that also came out (I picked up a black one for Snake-Eyes and a Desert-Camo one for...whoever). I think it's been re-released for TDKR, but possibly as an exclusive. I know it was modified for the "rocket launcher tumbler" in the "Bank Heist" set at Toys R Us. Though if you're looking for a good Batmobile that's NOT the Tumbler, then I'd say see if you can get your hands on the old Super Powers Batmobile. |

They did, it's just an exclusive now. You can get the Black Tumbler with Batman and a modified Desert Camo Tumbler with new shoulder missile pack with Bane at WM for $20 each. TRU sells the DK foldout Playset and the same Desert Camo Missile Tumbler for $50 together.

The Super Powers one is on my short list of retro toys I need in my collection. I currently have my 4" Batman standing beside the Hot Wheels 1960s Batmobile.
It's got some great detail, and the doors swing open, but there's absolutely no room to fit a figure inside unless I remove his legs.

EDIT: Ahh, I'm actually thinking all the way back to the Batman Begins "Electronic Sounds Tumbler" Example here (not my auction). Last edited by Jmacq1; 11-30-2012 at 06:13 PM.. |
