Saw them today at Target. Not impressed. Definitely not going to pay $8.99 per fig.

i saw that jeep at target this weekend. kinda sucky so i passed. they had different versions i think.

The "explosives specialist" looks like Cobra Kai Sensei Martin Kove aka. John Creese in military regalia. lol.

Wow, they're seriously $8.99? That's effin' ridiculous. They're just as craptacular as the Corps and those don't sell at all.

How much is the Navy Seal vehicle. It appears to be the same mold as the PTE one. Even has the same huge grenade launcher and seats as it. If its more than 10 bucks I think I'll stick to the one I got at Biglots. It wouldn't surprise me if these were made by the same manufacturers. Or if this new company bought/rented the PTE molds.

What surprises me is none of these other military brands tries to use different articulation. You always see the same t-crotch, no wrist articulation, head and neck are one piece, no ankle articulation. This is early 80's technology just with better sculpts than back then.
At least PTE surprises you with wrist & ankle articulation and their T-crotches also allow for left/right movement as well as up/down. If I only knew how to start an action figure company........ |
