This morning I found a MISB G1 Springer on eBay with a BIN of $110.00, a MISB G1 Gnaw with a BIN of $100.00, and a MISB G1 Snarl with a BIN of $100.00. The boxes were pretty beat up, but in my opinion, still a good deal. I hesitated and someone else got them. I'm kicking myself.

I woke up around 4 or 5 in the morning and saw the auctions. I hesitated, fell back to sleep, woke up a couple hours later and the items had already been sold.

There was a 1997 Bronze Bombers set for $30 shipped a few years back that sold within seconds of being listed. |

This is not the first time I've lost out on great deals because I hesitated. I remember several years ago there were a bunch of early carded Joe's listed on eBay. If I remember right, they were 1982 and 1983 MOC figures. The seller had no idea what he had and put his BIN price the same as the original price tags that were on the cards. He sold each one for $2.00 or $2.30, something like that. Needless to say, all of the figures went quick and I missed out.

Earlier this year I got a sealed Snow Cat for $50 a few seconds after it was put up. I thought that was cool.
I've mentioned it before, but I like to relive the moment. (Unfortunately the box got a crease either in shipment or some time after the picture was taken for the auction, but I wasn't about to complain to the seller...) |
