Just decided to pick up a few Spider-Man 3 toys. I really like the design and selection of the figures Hasbro decided to put out this time. The Spider-Man with suction-cup web is the best Spider-Man figure in a long time. Anybody else pick these up?

Yeah, I got some. They are nice however, the size really doesn't work for me. I was hoping a taller figure around the marvel legends size. Maybe we will see a 6' black costume spidey in the marvel legends line later.

I believe there was a black suit Spidey *checks reference guide* Yes, Marvel Legends Series 9, Circa 2004 ;) .....As for the figures (SM3) themselves, I've seen them on shelves...and there's quite a few that look damn cool. I just can't bring myself to collect comic based figures (i.e. - Marvel Legends). Why? Because it's like Pandora's box. I have no self control when it comes to toys...and am a completist. (which is going to suck because now I have to sign up for a TF club account just to get the TF classics figures that are being released at the con). |

Wal-Mart has a really cool Spider-Man 3 Black Suit Exclusive. They are getting hard to find tho I just got mine today and there were only 3 left at $9.99 because they are a limited run. These toys are selling fast and I don't see restock.
P.S. If you go to Wal-Mart turn the Spider-Man 3 display boards over and get a look at at the Transformers Movie Displays. They printed them on the back so all they need to do is flip them over when the TF toys hit.

Is that right? Sorry about that. I obtained the info I referenced from Toyfare's Marvel Legend Price Guide...what I should've said is that the figure was from Spider-Man wave 9, not Marvel Legends, persay. Here's a pic of what I was looking at/referring to: Quote:

Wasn't there some talk about a spidey ML themed wave?
I haven't seen the WM Black Venom anywheres either. I did pick up the purple Venom, the regular black Spidey, the WM black Spidey, and the SA normal Spidey. The regular black Spidey is bigger than the normal SA, but they both have the same points of articulation. |
