There's one Wal-Mart in my area, and it's always insanely busy. I only ever go there to check for Joes, always late at night (after midnight), and it's where I've scored most every 25th/Modern Era figure that I've bought offline.
There's one K-Mart, and it's usually pretty much always deserted - but it hardly ever gets any Joes in. The next closest Wal-Marts are about 25 miles southeast and 30 miles west, and the next closest K-Marts are about 25 miles east and 30 miles west - and those stores never have anything. The nearest Kohl's is 50 miles north, and the closest Target and TRU are about 80 miles north. So...what's the retail store layout like in your area? Here's hoping it's better than mine. :b |

I only have a few choices until the gas makes it ridiculous to keep on going further TRU, Wallyword, and Target...and maybe sometimes Big Lots.

There are about fourteen targets at my option near me, three walmarts 2 of which are disgusting and populated with bottom feeders and mutants, (workers and customers), and three Toys r us's, the one by my house is clean, but never stocked, the one in Van Nuys is a disaster but always stocked, and the one up in Porter Ranch is like the TRU that time forgot. Oh BTW u probably don't know these places . . . L.A. area.

Target in Victorville
Wal Mart in Victorville The Target gets everything first up here, which is funny since it's one of the old Targets. Our nice shiny new Super-Targets don't have S#!t. And the Wal-Mart on occasion... I go everywhere else and usually leave empty-handed. But I usually check every store from Apple Valley to Redlands at least twice a week... |

3 Walmarts
3 Targets (2 others I shop only if I can't find an exclusive at mine) 1 Toys R Us 1 K-mart 1 Kohls Anything else in the area I have to cross the river to get to. That area belongs to other tankers. We have a treaty. Nobody gets hurt that way... Everybody else is fair game... |

Well, until recently I was making weekly rounds to 9 or 10 Wal Marts, 7 Targets, 3 K Marts, 2 Kohls and 2 TRU. Luckily, I have just about everything I want that's been released. So it looks like my days scouring the city are just about over. All I need now is a few figures from Wave 12 and the last DVD battle pack and I'll be done until they decide to release more 80s figures and/or vehicles.
