The figure didn't show up until almost a year and half had past. ** Iron Fist (Open Hand) was retired quickly due to fan complaints that Iron Fist didn't feature an actual fist hand. The 032 Running Change version in 2012 is actually Glossy while the original Upside down 032 and 002 Spider-Man were both Matte. ** Matte Electro only popped up in the original Wave 5 case. The Re-issue was Glossy and came from the same case as Dark Bullseye. ** Variant Electro is argued whether the mask is painted, translucent, or translucent with a varying amount of paint mask to mask during production. Simply put, no one is ever going to be completely happy with the final answer yet can agree that at least the arms are translucent. Series 2 (H.A.M.M.E.R. Files) Wave 6 - October 2009 001 Spider-Man (House of M) 002 Wolverine (X-Suit, Derpy Head) -- Retired 002 Wolverine (X-Suit, New Head) -- Running Change 003 Warpath (X-Force) 003 Warpath (X-Men) -- Variant 004 Jean Grey ('90s Jim Lee) -- Retired 004 Jean Grey ('90s Jim Lee, New Hair & Blue color change) -- Running Change 005 Sunfire 006 Vision (Solid) 006 Vision (Translucent) -- Variant ** X-Force Warpath, the first '90s Jean Grey, and Solid Vision have never been re-issued once. ** Jean Grey was altered between first release and re-issue. The first version's hair is a hard plastic. The Running Change hair has been slightly enlarged to enhance the head and lightly detailed with some dark red paint shading. The Blue color on the costume has also been altered to be a little darker on the re-issue. The crotch band was also slightly widened on the front. Iron Spider-man properly uses 3 mechanical arms, the Scarlet Spiders team version uses 4 mechanical arms. There are three identical members in the Scarlet Spiders from Avengers: The Initiative. ** Iron Patriot, Skrull Language stand, and Short Hair Winter Soldier were first issued in Wave 9; Unmasked Iron Patriot, English Skrull stand, and Long Hair Winter Soldier in Wave 9 Rev 1. Both cases hit stores at the same time, but not evenly across the United States. Cable without Baby Hope features the same Hopeless X chest piece included in the with Baby Hope packaging, except it is glued on. The packaging pictures also change between Hope and Hopeless versions. The gun detailing, not unlike a B.A.T.'s arms, changes between releases. First issue Hopeless' guns feature heavier shade detailing than the Baby Hope version. The re-issued Hopeless removed the shade detailing from the guns. == Card Art Changes == (Series 3) 007 Cable with Baby Hope -- "Includes Baby Hope" (Series 3) 007 Cable with Baby Hope -- "Includes Figure Stand" Wave 14 - July 2011 012 Doctor Strange 012 Doctor Strange (Translucent Astral Projection) -- Variant 013 Falcon 014 Scarlet Spider (Standing with Scarlet Spider stand) -- Variant 014 Scarlet Spider (Upside-down with Spider-Man stand) 015 Dr. Doom 016 Skaar (Skaar stand) 016 Skaar (Son of Hulk stand) -- Variant ** Scarlet Spider with the Scarlet Spider stand, Skaar with Son of Hulk stand, and Astral Projection Doc Strange were issued in Wave 14. Scarlet Spider with the Spider-Man stand, Skaar with Skaar stand, and regular Doc Strange were issued in Wave 14 Rev 1. Both cases hit stores at the same time, but not evenly across the United States. ** This is the first time a case's Variants were shipped before the Regular versions. Cable with Baby Hope from the previous wave was considered Retired by Hasbro before it even shipped to stores. Wave 15 - September 2011 017 Ultron 018 Darkhawk (Modern) 018 Darkhawk (Classic) -- Unreleased -- Unknown Status 019 Sub-Mariner (Sub-Mariner stand) 019 Sub-Mariner (Imperius Rex stand) -- Variant 020 X-23 (X-Force) 021 Commander Steve Rogers ** Imperius Rex stand was issued in Wave 15. Sub-Mariner stand was first issued in Wave 15 Rev 1. Both cases hit stores at the same time, but not evenly across the United States. ** Darkhawk Classic '90s Armor was originally announced at SDCC and shown in the Diorama case. Current release status is unknown. Wave 16 - October 2011 022 Iron Man (Optional Tony Stark head with Tony Stark stand) -- Variant 022 Iron Man (Optional Tony Stark head with Iron Man stand) 023 Iceman (No Paint on Eyes) -- Retired 023 Iceman (Painted Eyes) -- Running Change 024 Absorbing Man (Human Skin) 024 Absorbing Man (Metal Skin) -- Variant 025 Wolverine (Astonishing X-Men) 026 Magneto (Ultimates) ** Absorbing Man is the first figure to incorrectly picture the Regular figure version on the backcard. Metal Skin is featured, even though Human Skin is the Regular version. ** Like Red Hulk's Matte/Glossy, early versions of Iceman are missing the paint on the eyes. ** Tony Stark stand and Metal Skin Absorbing Man were issued in Wave 16. Iron Man stand and Human Skin Absorbing Man were first issued in Wave 16 Rev 1. Series 4 (Comic Shots) Wave 17 - December 2011 001 Thor (Ages of Thunder) 002 Patriot (Masked) 003 Storm (Modern) 004 Daredevil (Shadowland) 005 Psylocke 006 Iron Fist (New Avengers White costume) ** Ages of Thunder Thor differs from the SDCC version by being helmetless and not adding silver shading to the face & arms. Wave 18 - August 2012 007 Ultimate Spider-Man (Peter Parker) 007 Ultimate Spider-Man (Miles Morales) -- Variant 008 Kraven the Hunter 009 Hulk (Modern) 010 Beast (Astonishing X-Men Upright) 010 Beast (Astonishing X-Men Upsidedown) -- Variant (Packaging) 011 Beta Ray Bill ** Miles Morales variant was first issued in early Wave 18 and re-issued in early Wave 21. Neither issue includes paint details for the red webbing and spider logo on the back of the figure. Upsidedown Beast was issued in the early Wave 18 cases. Wave 19 - August 2012 012 She-Hulk (Modern) 013 Punisher (Modern) 014 Spider-Man (Future Foundation) 014 Spider-Man (Baghead F4 costume) -- Variant 015 Kang the Conqueror 016 Scarlet Witch ** Baghead Spider-man was first issued in early Wave 19 cases from Singapore and re-issued in early Wave 21. Neither issue includes hair paint details on the Peter Parker head underneath the paper bag. The paperbag is partly glued on the head. Many sites at SDCC reported a Red/White variant mentioned during the panel and the Comic Shot that comes with Angel features his Red/White variant costume. However, it is also possible some information was misconstrued and actually was referring to the Red/White X-Factor costume Angel wears in the TRU X-Factor Gift Set. Wave 21 - November 2012 022 Professor X (Blue Suit) 023 Jubilee 024 Blastaar 024 Blastaar (Translucent Blast hands & eyes) -- Variant ** Both versions of Blastaar were issued together in early Wave 21 cases. Chameleon wasn't planned to be officially released by Hasbro within the near future so the head was an offering to fans to customize their own. Properly, Chameleon doesn't come with ears and has a solid white head. The ears were sculpted onto the Chameleon head before going into production so it would look like a human head and then casted green to match the rest of the body. ** Silver Surfer has been given an updated paintjob on a Series 5 Multi-language international card. The new version uses a darker glossy opal metallic finish. ** Iron Fist has been given an updated body on a Series 5 Multi-language international card. OMG, Vulcan, one of the worst ideas ever by Marvel. As if Scott wasn't enough of a dick, and Havok wasn't whiny enough, Marvel decides to take the two best Summers' traits and over exaggerate them in one new Summers' brother!! SMH.
