The green Venom looked cool, but there was no way I was going to pay $19.99 especially considering how little mileage I'd be likely to get from the water squirter.

I opened up that Thanos I picked up a couple weeks ago. I know it's already been said, but these Epic figures are absolutely rock-solid in terms of build quality. This thing beats the pants off most of the early Marvel Universe large-build figures in terms of how sturdy it feels and how nice the joints feel. The range of motion in the knees kind of sucks, but that's a trade-off I'm alright with.
I also found that Green Symbiote (Venom) for $5.99, so I picked him up. I like that it's easy to remove the wings from his squirter rig (to make him easier to store).

I think so, yes, though you'd have to get creative in how you'd attach them. They're actually somewhat larger than the 25th's Nemesis Enforcer's wings were (these are a shade over 4" long).

Is there still a market for the Marvel Universe figs? I have probably 50-70 sitting a box that I never look at or play around with. I would like to clear out some space.

Of course. How lucrative that market is depends. The guys deepin it selling think things are worth a lot more than EBay would suggest (at least from the FB group I?m in)

As someone who still primarily uses MU figures for customs, I can definitely confirm that there is a market. But also nowhere near as high as people on eBay like to pretend it is. Some of those Buy It Now rates are insane. There's a few that still skyrocket, but thanks to both collectors and customizers, the market is still consistent. If you're just looking to clear things out and make some extra money, it should go pretty easily. Ton of people still working on those builds.
