I see Noir a lot around this area. I am only familiar with the character from a cartoon my son watches where Spider man jumps between universes recruiting Alternate Spidermen to fight the most rioded up ridiculous version of the green goblin you can imagine. Does Noir have his own comic title or something? Anyway I picked it up just because it looks cool and for some reason kept it in my stash of figures I keep out to play around with randomly and there is something compelling about the design because that was around November or December I think and I still grab it all the time to the point the joints are starting to get loose from so much play. I usually use it for Peter Parker spider man in a more urban outfit that can go civilian quick if need be. Lots of imaginative stories and situations come to me from it for some reason and Like I said I don't even know what madia its from other than that toon the boy watches. That troll(?) guy from Thor gets a lot of play as well and I think hes from that same wave.
The figure is a great core figure for a Black jacketed male. I used mine for a Danny Ketch Ghost rider.

Does that have anything to do with the release of the second wave of Infinite series figures (Age of Apocalypse Magneto, Jewel (Jessica Jones), Monica Rombeau (Captain Marvel/Photon/Spectrum), and Hydra Captain America)? Or are they unrelated? I'm chomping at the bit for the next wave, so...

Pretty sure they're unrelated releases. The two packs seem to operate on their one wavelength. The first wave of singles hasn't even had a full roll out, not that that's a surprise for this line. I've also heard they've cancelled distribution of the first wave, so I don't think that bodes well for Wave 2...

That's disappointing. I've only seen iron man from wave 1 peg warming. Wolverine/X-23, Maestro, Moon Knight, and Lady Deadpool especially have all been sold out most places I go. I've checked several TRU and Target stores in VA and GA. I did see the Homecoming packs in Target in Brunswick, GA though

I wouldn't mind picking up a Hydra Captain America. Just so that my other figures can kick his ass.

Whoa, hold on. Where was Monica rumored? I've never seen pictures or her name appear on any list in conjunction with that wave.
Tombstone's name was once attached to that wave, but the lack of pics and info suggests the 6" was inadvertently reported in the wrong scale (boy, I'd love for that not to be the case, though). |
