Yeah, I don't know what just happened.. Could the ghost pages not be fixed, did the thread get too long? Sigh. Guess I'll just have to post a ton in here.

RoG, why can't a reboot get back to the roots of the characters and just clean the slate? I'm not saying a complete change like DC, but basically erase the last twenty years.

Sorry, but there's no way to fix the ghost pages--I had to make a new thread. I kept the title the same and moved the more recent posts over. The old thread can stay for a while if there's anything you need from it.

Yeah, there's a note from a Mod. Ghost page was the reason. I'm okay with it. The ghost pages broke the quote links, which killed my ability to catch up on 10s of pages at a time.

I would rather have the ghost pages and history of the thread rather than a new one. Can we just keep it the old way...please?

It's precisely because of DC that I fear any kind of reboot. Suddenly Superman isn't in love with Lois Lane and he wasn't raised on the Kent farm. Suddenly Steve Rogers is a Vietnam vet who was given the Super Soldier serum to save his life after getting wounded in battle. Suddenly Wolverine is a pansy-ass little Lord Fontleroy wannabe, a weakling in knickers who killed his real daddy and ran off to be a lumberjack... oh wait.
