I saw some nice looking Joe-size metal bikes in TRU yesterday. On closer inspection the plastic parts were quite cheaply made. I did a Google and read some not-so-good reviews, I can't remember the make anymore! But anyhow, they were crap.
So to the question; Any really nice Joe size metal bikes out there? Reliable makes? |

Maisto is your best. Tonka used to sell them in their own packaging.
Hot Wheels and West Coast Choppers also use dto make some. You could try checking out hobby shops, too. I think I've seen the bikes you are talking about, they are basically cheap knock offs. If you are buying them for ARAH, you should stick to choppers or cruisers, and avoid sport bikes. New sculpt & 25-30 anniersary figures are a tad taller and more bendable, but I haven't put any on a sportbike. Hey, thanks Zarana X.
Your Zarana figure in particular looks really nice on that Maisto Royal Star. Great, I know what to look for now. I am looking in particular for Chopper bikes. I saw a nice BMW design too, a bit vintage looking. |

I've got a few of the vintage (pre-'60s)Maisto Harley Davidsons and find they work better with the ME females than any of the male figures.
Really not gonna beat Maisto at the price. Damn things cost less than the figures themselves. |

I find that the (admittedly rare and often expensive) 1:15 or 1:16 scale bikes tend to work better for modern Joes.
Also? Most "deluxe" class Transformers with a motorcycle form (like Arcee from a few years back...not sure about the animated version) often tend to be (perhaps not so) surprisingly compatible with ME Joe figures. Last edited by Jmacq1; 08-16-2012 at 10:44 AM.. |

I got all the Jesse James West Coast choppers with about 2 repaints so all my ME 'Noks have a ride. I think you can only get them online now. Here's a few:

Hey 46 Zone, they look great. They look larger than the Maisto ones, even though they're officially the same 1/18 scale?

I have one OCC chopper that works well too, but I'm not a big fan of theme choppers.

Renegades Scarlett on Prime FE Arcee. I don't have the full release one, but she looks a bit smaller than this Arcee.
