I was able to get Mikey. The turtles themselves are great. The rest of the line, not so much. Here's a side by side with a red ninja.
EDIT: As someone brought up earlier, the weapons are NOT painted. Just plain plastic. I had to paint the nanchucks myself.

They are for pre-order online. Interesting that they are available in store. I like this version better because they look closer to the Mirage Comics turtles than the cheesy cartoon. I loved the cartoon as a kid, but had the comics too and always wished for a "grittier" version that was closer to the comic storyline, e.g.: there was a lot of blood! The Neca Turtles that came out a while ago are awesome but fetch a pretty hefty price tag on ebay now. I'm seriously debating getting these 4" turtles... Adding a wash to them and detailing the weapons wouldn't be a big deal. I think individually the price point is on par with the Retaliation Joes per figure. |

Thanks for that. I suppose if I get any they'll have to live in a separate location from the Joes. |

I could care less about the figures. But I am hoping we get some decent playsets... maybe closer to the movie reboot.

Bigger than the Joes, eh? Gives me an idea for a Dio where the turtles step on the Joes.

I'm digging the new Turtles. I'll probably pick up a set.
