Madelman 2050 (G.I. Joe Like) Figure.

JoMi toys: Madelman 2050 Zan

Madelman 2050 is one of the best (short) lines in the history of 3 3/4" figures. Based on G.I.Joe ARAH, or at least picking up its popularity, it was a Spanish production by Exin.

I had 1 figure and 1 vehicle of this I remember I even bought them on clearance, even here in Portugal it didn't have so much success but the figures were nice. Vehicles were a bit too futuristic in my opinion

I came across these on the web a few months back. I've been keeping an eye on eBay for a few figures since then. They're pretty sweet ass figures. I especially want the alien that's head transforms/spins around.

Is this the line that had magnets in the figure's feet? Seems they had some sort of fun gimmick like that.

Yes on feet and chest as well. The alien guys had 2 faces and magnet would rotate the face to reveal the alien face.

I discovered Madelman 2050 on the Order of Battle podcast. I definitely would have been into it as a kid. Seems like a cool line someone could redo in modern 4". Or the kind of thing Fresh Monkey could pay homage to in the Eagle Force Space Commanders theme.

I used to have a sizable collection MOC back when I collected non GI Joe o-ring lines.

Did you sell it all off? I am looking for pieces I am still missing, although I'm missing the rarer second series stuff only at this point. I'd love to get my hands on a Skytron.
