I managed to pick up most of the stuff from Monkey Depot's sale. I got the Patton's for 15.00 a piece and i ended up with four. Two are still in their boxes. They will probably become the base for the M60s.
The walker Bulldogs i got from smalljoes. The modifications to an M41D are a bit more disheartening than i originally planned, so i may do a representation rather than a direct conversion. If i do a direct mod i loose a lot of the cool features the toy has. The next piece of armor i want to get is the new power team elite IFV, the chinese wz551 6x6. That, for the forseeable future, will probably be it for Cobra heavy armor. Anymore it just gets difficult for my son to set up. @NSA - on the bulldog, be preparred to own one of the best tanks around. If you have seen the 21st century tiger tank, you'll have an idea of what you are in store for. My favorite piece of armor to date. @PCSguy88 - My wife got orders, so we are shipping out in July. No more Wichita, thankfully. The lady in the Spangle's commericals, the one with the lisp, finally came to a boiling point. I do get to go back to my hometown though, just outside of east st. louis... Wait, that's not really an improvement at all. Oh well. |

I don't like the look of the M2A2. The moving doodads and hatches are very erotic though. You get easily seduced.

Jeebus. Another $200 gone to Corey @ Smalljoes.. this 1:18 is becoming a problem! It's so hard to pass up 21st Century stuff since they *MAY* be gone for a while...

Yeah it adds up quickly but space becomes the biggest issue. You look at it all and just cuss, both good and bad. I think I'm done for a good long while. Nothing really fits into the Joe mythos I've created for myself and my son has multiples of every world war ii item available thanks to monkey depot.

Yeah I am secretly glad 21st is gone, or slowing down.. not as much to tempt me! I'll be interested in the Unimax LAV (as compared to BBI) but other than that I think I might be good,.. for a while...

I'm still trying to "catch up", so I'll be buying for a while yet. God help me when we finally get our new house and I have room to get any of this in quantity...

But they all look so much better on display than Joe vehicles.
And who really needs rows of blueshirts? Give into 1:18. ;) |

Truth. I only get joe vehicles to live misb now! But i like the joe figures way more than 21st C/BBi/FOV figures, way better posability and ability to hold different things.

Tanks, Planes, Heli's, we have it all EXCEPT we need a Battleship from one of these companies. I know they couldn't make it 1:18 scale due to the size it would be but they can give us something right????? I have a feeling if any of these companies did we would all buy one in a heartbeat.

I still say the companies couldn't come up with anything cooler than that 1:20 Admiral Graf Spee.
Makes the Flagg look like a Happy Meal toy, even if it is a bit on the small side. |
