A t-72/80/90 would be amazing as well. I'm holding on to hope that the power team elite type 98 is accurately scaled to fill the gap in the mean time.

The 1/16 Hooben T-55 will be my next tank and hopefully their Merk will hit this year too. |

Close enough for the undiscerning. Not me, but it's good enough for folks who prefer Joe vehicles. It's better than what Hasbro's got going. |

Lately I tend to forget this is a Joe board. So yeah, the Chap Mei Merk is perfect for the Joes to battle.

That Merkava is simultaneously awesome and horrifying. Most of Chap Mei stuff is like that. I need gigantic missiles attached to every tank i own. I wish the chap mei weapons weren't scaled for halo figures. That's where my son dumps all of those.
I love world war ii, but damn, i NEED more modern stuff. I agree with PCSguy, Forces of Valor is positioned to become the dominant 1:18 scale manufacturer. Their formula is perfect. Screw 21st century where the landing gear won't even stay up and every part breaks when you look at it cross eyed. As NSA said: "for looking, not for touching!"

I just imagine that Chap Mei Merk next to my 1/16 Bulldog and about piss myself because I'm laughing so hard. The Type 98 has some potential since it doesn't have all those extra guns and is about 1/19 - 1/20 scale. I'd buy it if I saw it.

I see you have assembled the Mig-15. If you breathe on it that 1 wheel drops. Thankfully it will stay up when hanging. Locking the gear down on the F-86 is also scary with those skinny little struts and ridiculously tight fitting lock. I can't believe peeps complain about bbi's gear being too thick. At least they are built to support those heavy jets.

Those would be "Rivet Counters". |
