I'm pretty sure it is in the thousands range and usually luxury items like jewelry etc.
I've ordered a lot of stuff from overseas and never had any customs tax charged. Compared to other countries we are pretty lucky.

LOL, I am doing the same. With this, the kick-starters and reports of the new Joes being seen I got to raise some capital!

So you guys are ordering directly from MC Toy Centre? It looks to me like they are selling in bulk.

I took a look at one of my local Big Lots today, and they seemed to have cut back on their toy selection overall somewhat since I was last there. They did in fact have an endcap practically dedicated to World Peacekeepers stuff, and they had an overall fair variety of product, but they didn't have any of the $5 sets (like the guy on the horse). They did have a good selection of other product, such as Humvees, a few Guard Towers, some Military Life sets, some Transport Sets, a big (possibly waterproofed) armored troop carrier of some nature, a Black Hawk or 2, and a couple of the Rocket Helicopters. They also had the Battlefield, but only the red-brick version; I'm hoping to find the gray-brick version. I've got another Big Lots not too far away, so I'll probably hit it up soonish. I'm also hoping to find the Command Center set one of these days too.
Speaking of the Rocket Helicopter, from the looks of the package, it appears to include 3 rocket pods of varying design, and not just one rocket pod. Was the earlier complaint about "one rocket pod" simply in regards to not including 2 of that particular rocket pod type (so as to enable a symmetrical loadout)? (Side note: I notice that they don't seem to be using the Power Team Elite brand name anymore; do we want to get the thread renamed?) @Itchweed: In regards to that True Heroes fig you were interested in, turns out he's available in both a 2-pack ($6.99) and a 4-pack ($12.99). I got a photo of the 2-pack: It's not the greatest quality picture, so to clarify the contents, it comes with a fairly decent fig that look like he can sub as either night-ops or SWAT; as for gear, all it includes is an oversized sniper rifle and a fairly nice SOCOM-like handgun. I didn't photograph the 4-pack, but it includes a ginger goateed fellow who is almost certainly a steroid abuser (judging from his head-sized biceps), a fairly reasonable Green Beret type, and a more typical helmet-and-sunglasses trooper, as well as more gear. Regardless of which set you picked up, you'd probably want to take a trip over to Marauder to get some better swag for them. Also, still waiting for advice on the True Heroes Patrol Boat. Pics are on page 312 of the thread.

There is an option to register as a business or personal customer. I registered yesterday and put in an order for a few hundred dollars worth of stuff. I haven't yet got a shipping email, but it's early. There is a lot of stuff that they produce that is not available on their site (yet) so I'll be interested to check back from time to time to see if more stuff is added. I would particularly like the Chinese versions of their soldiers. |

You used to only be able to register a s a reseller. This meant you had to buy in bulk. As of only this month they now sell directly to the public and you can buy in single item quantities.

Looks like they are only shipping the transport Humvees to big lots, that or someone cleaned out the other ones from two stores.
I also only saw the desert Battlefield, not the grey one. I haven't seen the command center building in years. |

My Big Lots had 4 or 5 of the battlefield sets but only one was gray. Humvees were green camo hard top and green open cargo versions only. ARH helicopters now include a third attachment for the weapon mounting pylons (though all three are different so a symmetrical loadout is still impossible). My store had 2 Black Hawks and 2 ARH helicopters, so I'm guessing a case is split between the two. I also saw the Willies jeep with trailer and motorcycle, the amphibious car, and the bunk/locker set. APCs and one of the boat sets were also stocked. I don't recall anything else being available offhand.

As far as Big Lots goes, I agree that it seems like there is a little less available this year then prior years.
