I am posting pics of the Helos at a greasy spoon i frequent.
in addition to showing off a bit, i was hoping if someone could ID one or two of these toys. sorry about the craptacular pics, no matter where i stood, the lighting in there just murdered any decent pics. ^This is above the counter. The Chinook, the OH-6 Loach, the Blackhawk are all wooden, carved models. the Apache, and the Kiowa are plastic. The OH-58D has got to be a 1:18 toy and it looks great. and that Apache is huge. the best part is that the Hellfire missiles on the racks have clear plastic warheads to look just like the real missiles. AH-1S or even an F model. Considering that the dive is less than 6 blocks from the Fort Rucker gate, they should have whirlybirds hanging. and guess what? for as long as they have had them hanging, pilots constantly offer to buy them. owners refuse to sell em. (even i asked about the OH-58...)

OH-58 and Apache, if 1/18 scale, are by BBI, very solid releases, and iirc the hellfire seeker heads are clear plastic, I can check mine later. The Cobra, if 1/18, is by 21st Century Toys. Some say it's the best 1/18 copter with the Kiowa following behind it, I think it's alright, I wasn't a big fan of 21st Century Toys' plastic.
