Dang. Your photos just pushed me over the edge. I just ordered Bee from BBTS. I grew up with the cartoon and had a few toys growing up, but I feel like my collection is going to spin out of control if 3Zero continues making transformers. I preordered Soundwave.

Don't fret, I suspect they won't make many more. If you revisit that Cybertron scene, while it features many G1 legends, I don't feel like most of them have a standout moment besides Soundwave and Optimus. Plus ThreeZero tends to make a lot of Optimus figures, maybe a villain or two, and not much else. Most likely they'll do another repaint or two of Blitzwing, *maybe* an Ultra Magnus repaint of Prime, and call it a day.

They could prove me wrong, of course.

Does he scale well with that Rose figure? It looks like there might be some photo trickery at play with that photo.

Theoretically at 8 inches tall, he should be close to in scale with a Joe since 'Bee is about 14' in the newer movie according to some cursory internet research.

I've reconsidered and preordered both Star Scream and Thundercracker. Waiting on Sky Warp. Takara has said he is coming as well, no pics but I think we all know how he will look.

I do feel that the new Seekers are a bit too pastel in pallet for me, but the sculpts are lovely. I prefer the darker colors or the vintage toys but I understand they are probably going for Sunbow animation colors.

Here is a better sense of the scale for you:

In the outdoor photo, I believe I may have placed her further away from the camera than Bee to make her appear smaller, but I can't remember for certain.

The price for Skids is reasonable, and I'm glad that Takara decided to go more realistic with the alt mode by putting that H on the grill.

I wonder why BBTS is charging more for Thundercracker 2.0 than they are for Skywarp 2.0.
