Nah, I'm a big softie.
I've given HTF figures to kids in the toy aisle after hearing them whisper to their mom's "that's the figure I'm looking for" while it's in my hands (true story). |

Thanks.
Yeah, in the end, I knew he'd never find one. I had a hard enough time finding one and I hunt pretty hardcore. Besides, I already had three. It was a SW TFU Emperor's Shadow Guard from a few years ago. |

I've had some of the Jeeps and other vehicles from Big Lots and they are a bit too small for the Joes. I haven't had any of the helicopters, but I imagine they would be on the small side as well. The problem seems to be that most military figures are 3.75 inches while modern Joes are 4 inches, so some compatibility issues arise. As for the quality of the toys, the vehicles I had were overall pretty sturdy. The smaller pieces and any connecting tabs tend to break easily though, so be careful with those. I believe that the company uses lead paint, so that might be something to take into consideration with a kid around.

I never had any problem getting ME Joes into PTE's vehicles.
Then again I always seem to manage to get them into Bbi & 21st's stuff without much issue, either. |
