As far as I know there are no Halo 1:18th Scale figures and vehicles which begs the question as to why? 1:18th Halo figs I think would be a no brainier. I know I would buy them.

Was it a 12inch figure or (3:3/4th)/(1:18th) like Joes?

I think he means the mcfarlane stuff but it is quite bigger than 1/18 at 5". I agree, Halo would be perfect for 1:18th size figures. They would be small enough to make vehicles like the vamp...er...warthog, ghost, banshee, scorpion, wraith, atv, pelican, covenant dropship, etc. You could even make an off size pillar of autumn with a playset inside.
Unfortunately mcfarlane toys owns the rights to make action figures so it's a pipe dream unless hasbro can acquire the rights. I don't think they would be nearly as detailed as the current mcfarlane ones which are really good. I have to fight the urge to buy them since they're so expensive. At the rate joe prices are increasing, I may not be able to use that excuse much longer! Last edited by brock Samson; 10-02-2008 at 02:46 PM.. |

1:18th Halo stuff would be a dream come true. Especially the vehicles. If I ever saw a 1:18th scale Pelican, compatible with Joes, I might faint.

I don't see why Mcfarlane toys can't make them in Joe scale. I know the would cost more than Joes, I think they would make them worth it with detail and such. Dose Mcfarlane toys have anything against making figs in 1/18th scale?

they mostly concentrate on models than actual playable toys. most of their stuff in the past has been this way and the halo line has been the most articulation i've ever seen from them. I don't think they can handle the kind of prodution a 3/4 inch line would demand in the retail market place. I typically see maybe one case of each halo line hit each store and never see anymore stock again. However, when this new line came out, walmart received several endcap case displays and they sold pretty well.
