Yeah, generally any pre-Legends Toy Biz Marvel Stuff is pretty much worthless.

As someone who's building a book on that subject, I can tell you that all the majority are worthless, there are quite a few that are difficult an expensive to find. Nothing like Dragon Man from FF Classics expensive, but hardly worthless.

I must have owned every Jakks wrestling figure since its inception around 96' starting back to the Bone Crunching series all the way till the early 2000's Real Scan Ruthless Aggression series I just picked and chose first release characters then stopped completely.I remember driving to all different stores to get the store exclusive giftsets from TRU,Walmart,Target,K-Mart,B.J.'s and Sam's Club back then during the peak of the Monday Night Wars if you go to wrestling shows and meet and greets some of these sets and figures were going for top dollar now I can't give them away for a $1.They're all collecting dust in storage along with my mid 80's early 90's comic book collection.I also have the original WCW & ECW figures from San Franscisco Toymakers that no one wants.

I guess I could maybe see like...the 2 Deadpool figures and maybe some of the late-era assortments that seemed to get much less distribution (and where Toy Biz was really starting to ramp up their game in terms of sculpting and deco). |

I was heavy into sports cards (mostly basketball) from 1992-97. I spent WAY too much time and money on those things, but I did have fun. I got into vintage stuff near the end, like starting a vg/nm set of 53 Bowman color cards and the 83-86 Star Co. basketball sets. I sold everything off because I just got tired of dealing with the people that were involved in the scene. Just a lot of shady, unscrupulous types who honestly had no joy or didn't really care about the actual art of collecting. It was only about $$, and that greed is what killed that industry and most of the shops.
I still pick up some packs here and there, but I won't spend very much at all on cards. My money goes into guitars these days. I can play them, make money with them, admire them, AND have an investment. |

I was surprised myself how many people were wanting a book from that era. No the Deadpool figures are not rare. It's some of the multi-packs that get expensive, and there are a few limited release figures as well. But the majority aren't worth anything, but that doesn't mean there still aren't a lot of people who collect them.
