neat idea!
i would like bigger guns and maybe variety for mine when i pull it out of my closet after i rearrange my collection. just a matter of hunting and experimenting. i feel yer pain about painting. hell, i can't seem to even make my own windshield out of plastic- i had tried using disposable face shields from a clinic my sister works as a nurse and cut the basic shape out- but no luck. we have a hobby shop here that has a lot of retired pilots who do odd projects for a fee, but they get pricey. oh, some of my stickers were peeling off only a short time after applying, so i took some Elmers glue and a Q-Tip and glazed over them with a super thin coat, as well as put a bit on the bottom of the sticker to hold it down. it dried clear and the stickers haven't been a problem since. gawd i want one more of these!

that top handle swivels front to back. with a little work or as it is, might make a decent minigun for the Shark.

Don't know if this will work- not able to get to my Shark at the moment, but have you tried looking for this gun off the Night Attack Chopper? (mine is the desert camo.):

one last suggestion if you are willing to look for one loose (and should be cheap:
McFarlane's Metal Gear Solid figure Vulcan Raven is a 6" figure, so you can guess about how big the gun he carries is: i had this figure years ago (wish i had kept the darn gun, though) and that cannon is massive. there's always options- just takes me a little time to see it, lol. This came out in 2007: it's another 6" figure with a M134 (AND mount). this is McFarlane Toys Military Air Force helicopter gunner.

Seeing what everyone else was doing inspired me to upgrade my AB-115 to get it ready to hunt some snakes! I have 12 hours into the paint, and need to finish the final assembly after I get the stickers and top coat applied. More to come!
