And Yoda.

If we get Hobbit and LOTR figures in 1/18 scale, I may as well start living in a cardboard box. I'll buy every damn Orc I see...

Play Along did Trumpkin from Prince Caspian at 2.5" and he was packed with an animal: Action Figure Gallery
He wasn't a great figure, but he was up to par with the rest of the line at the time. Once that got the second wave they greatly improved both sculpt and articulation and I feel like they learned on that line - hopefully enough to bring that experience to the table for The Hobbit. Plus Smaug is no small character. He's not like the fan-clamored-for-but-barely-in-the-movie Balrog from FOTR/TTT. A Hobbit line with no Smaug would be like Star Wars with no Vader figures.

I get the impression from the use of ''pack'' and ''basic figure'' that they might be doing some kind of kid-friendly sets (maybe like Imaginext or Marvel Superhero Squad) and for grown-ups, there'll be something more akin to a DC Universe/GI Joe style of more accessory-packed, articulated figure. But who knows?

I saw 3 inch tall terminator salvation figures... they were out and out terrible... badly made and as thick as a number 2 pencil. I hope they don't go that route.

I was hoping that Hasbro would get the license, but I'll wait and see what this company can do before I write this line off. If the line looks half as good as Toy Biz's stuff, I'm in trouble.
