No problem, glad I could help, this actually brings me back into the days when I used to look up Gundam Wing info via designs, et al.
Bandai might release more Okawara based Wing kits, I know for sure there is demand for the regular Deathscythe as the EW version is substantially different in comparison. With ROBOT Damashii it's hard to predict what Tamashii will do next. I know that for Dragon Ball Z, a big thing they have been doing is taking input from Bluefin, and this may be why a lot of the Gundam Wing figures we are getting in ROBOT Damashii have found their way into the line. Judging by what has been released, there is suspicion that Heavy Arms may be next, followed by Wing 1. Heero did fight Zexx using Heavy Arms in that 1 episode. Yeah, ROBOT Damashii does seem to be a bit more chaotic in terms of selection, just like D-Arts. I think Gundam has such a worldwide mass appeal that it's one of the few properties that Bandai has more flexability with it. I'm glad Gundam Wing is so popular in America, hopefully that will mean more Wing figures and kits. Okawara's Deathscythe (both versions) would be awesome. Gundam Wing has a lot of suit variations for a single show, but I love it. At this point Gundam Wing is about the only Gundam series I collect, though I'd like to eventually get stuff from 08th MS Team and Turn A Gundam. It would be awesome to see Gundam Heavy Arms in the ROBOT Damashii line, especially if they include the hidden beam saber in the left arm. That was a great episode.

Nice, thanks again. Yeah, back before I was really into using the internet, and Gundam was in it's early stages in America I had a Beckett Gundam Magazine, haha. I still have it somewhere, it's falling apart from age, but it covered all of the Gundam series up until Turn A Gundam I believe. Along with Gundam Wing, I'd say that single magazine inspired a lifelong interest in Gundam. I just downloaded Turn A Gundam (only b/c Bandai Entertainment cut it from their releases), and it's like "finally, I've been waiting to see this for ten+ years!". I've been out this stuff for way too long. So I know what you mean about looking up Gundam info, it was really exciting when Gundam finally hit America airwaves.

That very episode you mentioned with Heavy Arms and the beam saber in the left arm is the very reason why I think that, and Wing 1 are next in SIDE MS. The reason being that Tallgeese is out, and that hidden saber, that kind of gimmick based on a small part of the show is something typical by Tamashii. They definitely aim to make stuff like that. A big thing is how far Robot Damashii has come compared to MSiA!. I loved MSiA! but most did not age well. Robot Damashii are so much better. |

That was a good time. Though in the years since, I've found Wing to be the most overrated Gundam series, I respect it's international impact and to date, it is the most successful one to hit domestic shores. I became a UC fan back then but some AC series like 00 are pretty cool, I am partial to the Exia Gundam.

Yeah, I love that Damashii, they do seem to understand those fan favorite elements and capitalize on them. It's just another reason why, when done right, Japanese toys just appeal to me much more than US toys. I'd probably buy a few Damashii Wing 1, Tallgeese, and Heavy Arms just to make a display for that scene. I try not to limit my gunpla stuff to a specific scene/look like that, so the Damashii stuff would be perfect for that. I don't have much experience with MSiA!, but I can't see much topping Damashii, D-Arts, and S.H. Figuarts. Bandai has really made some superb figures within these lines.

Man, if Bandai would do some new HG Wing stuff, I'd be all over that ROBOT Damashii grunt suits. Both the Leo and Ares are looking awesome.
