I hope they release all the 1:18 helicopters again. Especially the Huey.

[QUOTE=Shin Densetsu;2831449]1/32 can take off if they release jets. The 1/32 Phantom proto 21st had looked really good. Pretty ripe opportunity.[/Q
corection the 21st phantom was ment to be in 1/18th but was never past cause of high buget coasts but there was a 1/32nd phantom built by Bbi as well as a F-104C |

Yup, its likely repaints. What the letter tries to say, though, is that if this slow churn (of smaller planes + maybe bigger 1:18 repaints) can get a quick little push; it may help Algo's wheels turn faster. They've been stalled for almost half-a-decade. Yet All Go's wheels none-the-less, are turning, with official product finally in e-tailer hands. Bad Cat is helping the push, with their letter of support, and a discount (code) + free shipping. I agree, its not much. None-the-less, Algo's wheels are turning...
I'm pretty sure All-Go! has announced they're staying fairly strictly with WWII. Unfortunately in my opinion that well is tapped. They're not gonna do anything "exotic", granted, there's plenty to do in the genre, but the fact is they WON'T. They wouldn't even do a T-34. The Germans did a good spot more time fighting Germans than they did us, and yet there aren't ANY Soviet items at all. But if I want a Mustang I've got well over a dozen options. If they want to stay locked doing the same 10 vehicles from '39-'45 that's great, but I've moved on from the WWII genre, at least from the same old Corsairs, Mustangs and Shermans. Nice, another Oklahoman. The 21st Century Phantom was held off because of the shift in management and layoffs of some of their key designers like Roy Sutherland. It would have been nice if they did not announced it at all so that Admiral Toys could have released theirs. 21C kept on announcing the same products as Admiral Toys and they both hurt each other. |

Admiral has its own share of announced projects that never made it to retail, like the Dauntless and Skyraider. |

None of Admiral's announced projects are going to make it to retail, either. They've long moved on to different stuff.
The real tragedy there was the WWI birds. |

I was hoping for the WWI birds and the A-1 Skyraider. Too bad their lead designer and owner sold his share to his brother whom does not seem to want in the 1:18 scale market.
