Does your woman have a say in you buying toys ?

My fiancee wants me to give her a list of what I want, she even gets pissed when I buy things sometimes because she wants to get stuff and stockpile for Christmas.

my wife says what ever makes you happy, makes me happy. oh and make sure you also get some toys for the kids.

As long as I spend "my" money on it she's golden. When I use credit cards she gets a bit uppity.

I spend my $$$ how I want; I've worked to hard to let someone tell me what I can and can not do with my $$$...

The day she tells me what to do with my cash is the day she can find someone else to nag!

Luckily, I have a great wife who supports my addiction...man do I love her...

About 2 weeks ago my wife and I had a semi-heated discussion on this very topic. I have a set amount I can spend each month, but I recently spent more than I should because of the Transformer ROTF toys (I'm a TF collector first, then Joes). Long story short, I have a "debt" in the house budget that I need to clear for the next month or so, before I can buy any more toys - so it looks like I am going to be missing the new Joe ROC toys for now. *sigh*

She "tolerates" my hobby, but is definitely not a fan.

i look at it like this, as long as you take care of your family and prioritys first, then your woman should have no problem with you collecting and if she does well then as unclassified once said... joes before hoes.

My GF only knows half the truth on what I spend. So I'll keep it that way. And since that makes me happy I don't care.

mine calls me a nerd but still picks me up the occasional joe. of course i have to do dishes before i can open it up. lol
