I just want to know since I myself never have the chance to compare these toys. I'm interested with the vehicles details and how it plays with the modern era G.I. Joe. Some pictures would really help a lot. Thanks every one.

I like BBi ....More specifically, the Elite gear is out of this world for such a small scale line. The figures themselves basically "T" crotch...
Someone was saying that the weapon packs were at dollar tree? Has anyone else seen this? I have looked at about 10 DT stores and not seen anything.

Bbi is tops in the detail department. Joe figures work with pretty much all of their stuff. Unfortunately they've long passed from retail, and there are only a few items left at e-tailers. If you're gonna go for those, do it now before they all pass into secondary market prices. You don't want to have to pay those. 3/4 of the Helicopters hanging from my ceiling are Bbi. Love them.
Next step down is M&C's Power Team Elite. You aren't gonna beat them at the price. Detail is Great (The Chinese FAV) to Good (Everything else), they come loaded with various accessories, and figures you can give away to kids or whatever. Certain sacrifices are made in the scale department, but nothing as egregious as what Hasbro does. Lots of variety in the line, but some folks have issues with the QC. I've never had a problem with them though that wasn't my own fault. True Heroes I don't have any real experience with. As best as I can tell they seem to be a mix of Chap Mei and In-house products. Take even more liberties with scale than even PTE, but still not as bad as H. I should take the time to add Unimax's Bravo Team line. They're limited to Target and some Base/Post Exchanges, but they're near Bbi in detail and quality (on the vehicles, anyhow) and some say more accurate. You're gonna be limited to an M1A2 or an M2 Bradley in stores, but at 30 bucks only PTE beats them in price. Last edited by Konigstiger; 08-20-2011 at 09:18 AM.. |

Thanks konigstiger for the infos, really hope you could add some snapshots with your review. I really want to see the scale difference with the G.I Joe figures.
Any one tried ti use Bruder? I think specially with the modern era scale the joes are more of a 1:16 scale than 1:18. Thanks for all the infos |

Huge fan of BBI. They basically haven't had anything modern out for awhile but I find myself scouring ebay once a week for possible deals.
The figures are bad unless you're a customizer and you want very detailed equipment and pouches to use with your creations. |

Thanks for all the infos Not my pic: I've actually got 6 Shock Troopers and a ST/Viper hybrid on this thing now. Need to make a second ST pilot. 21st Century M48 Patton with Joe figures 21st, and a couple of Bbi figures with a Bbi OH-58D They're about the same size as modern Joes. |

Nice photos. Is that F14 1:16 scale? Is that little bird BBI? The figures are kind of a big for the chopper, can a M.E. figure pilot that thing? Nice M48 and OH 58-D. Has anyone seen a Hind for the M.E. scale? That would be a bad *$$ Gun ship for cobra.

The F-14 is 1:18, though Bbi DID fudge the scale on their F-16 and it was actually 1:16.5.
ME figures will fit in the Bbi MH-6, though I think the photos are somewhat deceptive. I've got a Shock Trooper in the pilot's seat as we speak. The MH-6 is a small helicopter IRL. The only Hind out there was one Bbi did for their cheap-o line. It's "Joescale" so a Joe figure will fit in the cockpit, but it's squat and oddly proportioned with an incorrect number of rotor blades. |

HEY, that's my phone Man! Thanks Konigstiger for using the F-14 pic of mine. Shock Viper, check out my profile and then click on the pics to see all of the BBi and the 21C stuff with the 25th G.I. Joe 4-inch stuff in the vehicles.
Here is a few more to show scale comparison with the G.I. Joe figures:
