I'm really envious starfighter, thanks for sharing your pictures. I hope I have that much money to burn for my collection. I hope Hasbro would take G.I. Joe seriously, how come this companies could sell items like this? I doubt they have even a quarter of Hasbro's capital. Hasbro might be spreading its self thin.
Thanks guys for sharing your collection. |

Thanks guys for sharing your collection. There is a new F16 out you can get reasonable (for that scale). Figure though if you get into anything that goes in the sky you are starting at $150 and you better have the room. They are huge pieces. PTE is a good gateway drug. Start with some ground forces and work your way up. You only ever need one chopper or jet in 1:18 scale. You can always have a small convoy of ground forces though. |

Well most of those companies don't make the vehicles anymore which is a shame. A lot have gone the way of the dodo now. You can find Hummvees and stuff reasonable on e bay but it's just as good to get a PTE one for cheaper. Detail won't be as nice buy you can touch it up.

I just had an email correspondent with a representative of BBI and they are looking for local distributor. I don't think they know how to sell their items. I ask them if they have an online store, and they respond was that they are still in the works. I hope this guys could bring their items in the market I think they will make a killing specially now that Hasbro made a very wide gapping hole for vehicles market.

Is BBI still around? They shut down their 1/18 and 1/6 collectibles division years ago. I recall they relaunched its site a couple years ago but it was only old stuff. Do they have any presence in the US? Is it just old warehouse clearances? |

Starfighter, I'm still envious of your CRRC--which is one of the hardest 1/18 scale watercraft to find.
