I'm not really sure why all the big hub bub about the retro vintage packaging. IMO the new blue cards for CW and Saga Legends are way cooler looking.

Of course I did love the 25th Joe retro looking cards... so maybe I had to be around when the Kenner figs were originally on sale to truly appreciate the new vintage look of the SW figs.

i agree,i love the new blue cards,i think the vintage cards are a bit drab but the nostalgia is there

I too am a child of the mid 70's and 80's.You have never seen the back of some of the original ESB cards.This is a vintage AT-At Driver I have.The is a 41 back card.Now the back of the new vintage cards will not look like this.The new cards may be drab but that's the way they looked back in the day.

No, you didn't. I was around back then, I had all the figures, Star Wars was my main thing but I can't understand why the hell everybody is going crazy over these stupid rehashed & over-priced figures. They just had a freakin vintage line a couple years ago. So what's the big deal now? $9.99 for a Cloud Car Pilot? Dengar? AT-AT Commander? AGAIN??? Are you serious? How many times do you have to buy the same figure? $10 for a shitty Cloud Car Pilot that had less than a second of screen time? Unbelievable!

I was just at my local TRU and saw both the blue packaged and the vintage. Ran 1 of the vintage over to a price scanner and almost threw up. 10 bucks?!? Not cool. Really like the blue packaged 'saga legends' guys though. Grabbed the epic looking Jango Fett and Darth Vader with the multiple masks. Um...sweet! Im an open collector (unless its a box set) usually, but this Vader is just off the hook, I might keep him MOC. Boba and Jango Fett are always awesome looking. Also grabbed Gen. Greivous who I have always loved def 1 of the cooler prequel guys along with Darth Maul. Had the new blue pkg vehicles as well. Im not a huge SW collector, I just grab the stuff that really jumps out to me. Very selective with vehicles. I wont be buying ANY of the Vintage guys at 10 bucks a pop. But the blue packaged guy are sweet and it looks like they come with STANDS!!! Hallelujah!!! Im so sick of the damn troopers falling like dominoes every time I bump the shelf.

Yeah the CW and Legends have stands that go with the 'galactic battle game'. No names on the stand.

I dont get why the Vintage line costs more, when you get less inside.

Which Is why I am waiting for Target and Walmart to get them.I mean $10?Yeah,I can wait.

Yeah I noticed that .. 9.99 is alot .. they dont even offer a star case like the trilogy collection a few lines ago ... what a scam. But I'm a sucker .. I need at least boba fett in the vintage line though...
