IMO Clone Wars is the best handled toyline ever. The newer vehicles are all well made and there is tons of product that you actually want being made in large numbers. If you see something on the show chances are it will be made into a toy. The only drawback is CW stuff is super expensive.

The Grievous you want was snuck out in the regular Build a Droid series a couple waves ago. I thought it was another rehash, but I finally bought it recently and it's cool! All new, at least an inch taper than the previous versions, double jointed knees, 4 well articulated arms that connect into two arms, although some range of motion is lost and they don't stick together really well. Looks good with the WM version's cape too. I'm gushing a bit, but that's because new Star Wars guys I really like are hard to find, and I thought the initial Grievous figures were disappointing. I really like some of the "redos" of Prequel characters, that came out after the films, when the artists had more reference to work with. As far as Clone Wars, I picked up a few initially, I love the first "dirty" Clone Trooper with it's great articulation. It's a shame they stopped the weathering due to cost or something. Recently I picked up the Jawas because they are irresistable, as well as Cad Bane, since he looked cool and I've only seen him once. I actually got over my bitterness and enjoyed a marathon of the show the other day and I can see why kids are buying this stuff. |

There's a rumor floating 'round that BroJob's going to experiment with classic style-card art for their basic figures a la GIJOE 25th anniversary. Meaning the cards will be like those Vintage style clamshelled ones from a few years ago except without the clamshell. That would get me back into carded collecting, I know. I'm not too fond of the little bitty cards. |

I too have really enjoyed this line and have been collecting since i got back from Iraq (Dec. 20,2008) and have amassed quite the collection. I also enjoy the show/comics/movies, and am very happy to see how many of the characters they have made into figures
