They did an A-Team toy line, so everything should be fair game now.

Wow. Those kinda look horrible IMO... so bad that cheapo Chinese knock-offs of those toys would probably look better than the originals. LOL.
I can think of A LOT of movies that should have had toys before Real Steel though... A LOT. LOL.

Like "Horrible Bosses", "Friends with Benefits", or "Final Destinatio 1-5"?

Real Steel at TRU today. $17.99 each for 6" and the more Joe-scale 2-packs. Who the fuck does 2-packs with one of the fighters being the same in each one? They're $18 a pop, why the hell would I pay another $18 just to get the 3rd fighter?
6-7" 4-4.5" 2-packs

I saw the 6" and the ring at Target today and I didn't feel impressed, so I bought an Anni. Cortana instead.

2. If they did it for nostalgia's sake then they would have used the 80's characters, especially Mr. T. 3. Fighting robots have more curb appeal than 4 guys in a van. |

My TRU had single-packs of a more Joe-scale 4-5" line of figures. I think they were $9.99 apiece, but I didn't really look beyond examining a couple of the figures. They didn't look horrible.

I saw these at Target yesterday. I'm not as surprised as some of you dudes are that they made this line. It's a movie about big fighting robots... what little boy wouldn't want to play with that? Just because these robots don't transform into vehicles doesn't mean no one is interested.
I picked up the 2 headed "Twin Cities" bot and I will most likely be picking up 2 or 3 more. Of course, they will immediately be repurposed into Cobra "Servitor Robots". And who among us hasn't clamored for a 1/18th scale boxing/wrestling ring that's actually in scale?! Just drop some of your own homemade graphix over the movie-themed ring and presto!
