Spidey and lizard are locks, not sure about others, rumors are flying that there is a Riely spidey somewhere in this line, but I have yet to see it clearly. Doc Ock is kind of interesting but I kind of prefer the toybiz version. So beyond Spidey and Lizard I doubt I am getting any more.

Yeah, at this point I'm only getting Spiderman and Lizard, they're only two figures who have ball-jointed hips! I refuse to buy a bunch of T-Crotch figures in the 21st century. I stomach it with Star Wars, but Spiderman is all about articulation. I might pick up Manga Spiderman, if there is a Ben Reilly Spidey I might get him too, but I plan to fix their artic at some point.

Even Star Wars has quit T-crotches for the most part (with some exceptions)
Riely spidey will depend on articulation though, again not seen a clear pic yet so don't know, but I have the other spidey version so no loss if he isn't articulated well. |

I'll get Reily as long as he doesn't look like a girl this time. Since he's basically Spiderman I bash together a good version from various older Spidey figures.

This is best pic I can find on Ben Reilly (in card, to the right):
He looks pretty good, comparing roughly to the Stretch Strike Venom to the left he looks bigger and more proportionate. I'll probably buy one on sale to replace the one I have if he looks good enough on hand. |

The only figure I'd want to get overall is Super-Articulated Movie Spidey.
Why a beautiful figure like that gets shoehorned into a mostly-subpar line (Yes, people complaining about the Avengers movie figures, be thankful that they have at least better articulation than the ASM line...), I'll never know. (Though, it does help SAMS stick out like a sore thumb.) |

At my local Target today the Spider-Man section was empty, it looked like they cleared it out themselves. I wonder if the new spider-man figures will be coming out soon. Does anyone know if they have an official street date or anything?
