Okay so I've been trying to build a cobra watchtower or whatever out of spare cardboard I've had lying around (actually empty MOTUC boxes). It looks pretty ghetto and despite the fun I've had "designing" the structure with my daughter, I'm quickly beginning to realize that customizing buildings really isn't my thing. lol.
so here's where the question comes from. Where do you guys find the cool Power Team Elite bases/playsets that I see in a lot of collection pics? I know that big lots has the world peacekeeper stuff or some such. I wouldn't mind finding some of the walls that break apart too, but have no idea where to look or really what I'm looking for. any help would be appreciated. thanks!

Not sure about the retail bases but one thing you could do with the cardboard is lightly spray it with like a black spray paint (not too much or the cardboard gets soggy), then you can put fishnet stockings over the cardboard real tight and spray it with green and you'll get a cool snake skin effect. That would look sweet for a cobra base.

Right, because on a website full of grown men who collect toys and customize them in their spare time that would be totally wierd...

Well I don't own any fishnet stockings so that idea's out the window. So nobody has actually answered my question yet. where can I find those cool playset/bases?

Big Lots carries the PTE toys. They usually stock up before the Christmas season. JCPenneys.com also sells some stuff. |
