One of my favorite figures from DC is the DCUC wave 3 Deathstroke figure. the details on it are incredible, he comes with a machine gun, sword, and staff plus he's a great character. Just an all around win.
Honorable mention goes out to the DC Direct JLA Superman (one of the first to feature increased articulation) that my wife and daughter got me as a gift. Hands down, my favorite version of my all time favorite super hero.

DC toys are aiight, but it's tough to get too excited about them. The biggest problem with DC isn't the toys, it's the characters. THe ovewhelming majority have no personalities. They're consistently being replaced and then replacing their replacements a few years later, wiping out any and all character development along the way.
What you say is true for all long standing characters who have had multiple writers. Not all writers are created equal, and not all writers can write for any/every character. Take Wolverine for example. In the hands of Joss Whedon he was awesome. He was that intense, quiet, loner who was best at dispatching his enemies. Under Marc Guggenheim or Daniel Way, Wolverine was a whiny little bitch who would never shut the fuck up. He would go into these incredibly dull, seemingly never-ending soliloquies about how he was such a bad man without hope for redemption blah blah blah blah.... It made the readers want to stab their eyes out with an ice pick. Same character. Two very different personalities. DC's problems were created by "Crisis on Infinite Earths" and Superman's mid 80s reboot. Those two events destined many characters to spend the next couple of decades in ret-con limbo. A lot of characters were really mishandled in that time. Power Girl, Huntress, Super Girl, etc... In the end none of it really matters when it comes to the fan's interpretations. To me, Wolverine has always been a good street level, "take no prisoners" hero, and has never had the power or class to defeat the Fantastic Four despite whatever Marvel may consider canon. Power Girl has always been an ass kicking Kryptonian even when she was an Atlantean wizard's exiled daughter. Last edited by Bujo; 05-24-2011 at 11:45 PM.. |

Being a 1:18 man, I'm a big fan of the DCIH Jay Garrick and Dr Fate figures. Those figures are just perfect to me.

I'm not sure if I have a favorite figure currently, maybe the CnC Kilowog. When I was little my dad bought me this Superman from a comic show:
I loved it, I used to ride around with him on a Fischer Price bike that had Superman stickers on it too, the 3d puffy kind from the 80's. And I swear, if anyone says "pictures or it didn't happen" they're getting punched in the nuts... |

DCU Batgirl... but it was just a batman/superman line when she came out I think. Great Barbara Gordon figure... and tons of detail-stitching on the suit, treads on the boots, etc.. I don't have many 6in figures out anymore, but I've always got a place for her!

DCUC Bane wave 13-year old Dick Grayson with double jointed elbows and double jointed knees, plus full up and down and side to side wrist articulation.
