Found 6" Classics Mumm Ra yesterday at WM for $7, and found this today at the Tuesday Morning flagship store by their corporate HQ:
Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic. The figs were $3.99 a pop and the vehicles were $14.99. |

Well I figured since the 6" modern T-Cats line got cancelled a while back, I'd go ahead and attempt to customize a 6" Cyborg Panthro....
Here's the end result: Despite the rather simple disassembling of this figure's torso halves, by way of the screws in the back, this was not just a simple part's switch custom. In order to achieve the structural integrity, which I strive to do in any customs or custom parts I integrate into a figure, I had to spend almost two hours just carefully cutting and drilling pieces. I basically took the Spiderman Classics Ult. Rhino arms, and widdled the pin/disc pieces of each arm into smaller yet still sturdy pins. Then I had to cut off the pin from the pin disc ball jointed shoulders of the original Panthro arms, and using a 1/8 drillbit by hand, I hollowed those pin pieces out so the pin of the cyborg arms would fit. Afterwards, I just glued the pieces together, and reassembled the figure with the new arms.

I think it looks great! Sounds like a lot of work but the end result is very cool.
