anyone else notice how the flag decal on the vehicles always faces the wrong way, for instance on the passenger "tc" side of the awe striker its as if in retreat(the flag) so sadly i had to peel back that bad boy. youd think theyd do some military consulting, hasbro,....hmmmm
sorta like ole dukes wings being on the wrong side of his uniform. anyone else here in the service agree, that more could be done to get it right? |

Mine is facing the right way...I think anyway. Stars towards the rear, bars towards the front. But I've noticed lately that Duke's flag on his arm is facing backwards..and it isn't just him, I got two modern Paratroopers from BBI and they are also backwards. Why?

I'm sure someone in budgeting asked "Why are we spending more money on printing a reverse flag? Just use the same one we have for the other side"
To be honest, I never even heard about the stars facing forward till a couple of years ago and both my parents were in the military and I was born on an army base |

Interesting, I did not know that. So I'm clear, if the stars are forward that means retreat and if the flag is upside down it means distress? And does this apply to all nations or just the states?
