LOL I knew that'd push a few buttons. I never had the big power ranger Zoid as a kid this would be a perfect candidate =P

Oh jeezz not that it would be so tempting to pick up these. Can't say I can afford to start another line. But depending on how they look ....Who am I kidding? I could totally get these . Let's go Voltron Force!

Also, each will come with a part to build the blazing sword!

Wonder if they'll be poseable, well-detailed figures like a G.I.Joe figure or just a solid piece of plastic with minimal paint jobs. I remember the old Voltron figures that went into their own versions of the lions from back when.

Yeah, but only $30 each? That's not so bad. And there's only five lions, after all.
And if these are coming out once per month, even better. It won't hurt much to collect these.

Mattel has never seemed to get 3 3/4" figures right - assuming that will be the scale (it sounds like it to me), but considering this is directed towards collectors, they might put more effort into it. They might be more like smaller MOTUC/DC Legends figures, which wouldn't be bad at all.

I'm betting the action figures will be 3" figures with MASK style (5-points) articulation.
