So, Jell-O makes a strawberry milkshake pudding. It's pretty much great. With the chocolate Teddy Grahams... awesome.
And Hellion, still haven't forgotten about you. I'm just pretty awful at sticking to things. |

Eat enough of that pudding and you'll likely stick to something before long.

Yeah... it's the work and the life that tend to get in the way.
Don't worry though, not like I'm gonna sell them to anyone else. Just think of it as owning them in someone else's collection. Like a museum loan. |

Not worried at all, I know you'll get around to it. Just like I'll eventually get around to packing up my toy shelves in preparation for a probable move over the summer.
...man I am not looking forward to cleaning all of this stuff. MPSS has a fur coat, basically everything else has a nice little (or not so little) dust layer going on. One thing is for sure though once I do move: no more open shelving. I don't want to hermetically seal everything away, but since I'm not likely to start dusting regularly (especially since uzis and rifles and such tend to scatter unless each figure in cleaned individually) I gotta do something. Also, Cthulhu Saves the World is hilarious. |

So... looks like I'll be looking into which pre-paid credit card is the least rip-offiest so I can do business with the club again. Unless the con set is completely terrible methinks I want some Oktober Guard action.

You know, I'm glad again that I'm done. This will be an expensive collection to get second hand.

So the Renegades show suddenly appeared on Netflix, and having never seen anything other than the initial promo I put it on for a while (up through ep.6 I think). Suprised to see the full on use of the A-Team concept, even the opening monolog is a direct lift. I never once heard anyone mention this. Pretty annoying actually since I love the old A-Team show for all its campy formulaic 80's-ness. But this cartoon with the cavalcade of angular pointy chins and almost-anime.... Scarlett as a stuck up bitch... Flint is a milktoasty Col. Decker (again with the A-Team thievery). Don't even get me started on LJ being a supply clerk or whatever she's meant to be.
I'm ok with this show being canceled (unless it gets wicked better later on....)

It doesn't... They take on Zartan and his misfit biker gang in an episode that once again takes on the A-Team "Lesson Learned" motif and teaches the small town deputy [and kids] to stand up for himself.
Okay, so Hellion, good news, I found those filecards. They were right were I knew they'd be. I pulled them from the box and set them aside so I'd collect them after I moved all my boxes around in the storage unit. Bad news, I moved around a lot of boxes and have no idea where they wound up in the wicked game of 3D Tetris I found myself in. I think I won the day though, I managed to get 2/3 of my storage unit back to open space... So... How about I just pack up the figures and send them to you and continue to pursue the filecards at a later date? Maybe we can even use the Wreckgar as the holdout in the exchange. |
