Well, I bought an xB in 06. Hopefully it'll last another 7 years or more. Half a million cars in a year really is a lot, especially when you factor in that there's other plants, other manufacturers, other countries. I don't watch TV a lot but when I do there's almost certainly at least one car commercial in any given break. I've always wondered if people really buy THAT many new cars to warrant the constant advertising saturation.
Speaking of OT, I'll need 20-25 hours of it this year just to cover the increase in health insurance cost. During the meeting the rep fed everyone the same old tired lines regarding why, and after the meeting you couldn't go five minutes without hearing the same old tired echo-chamber arguments about the "real" reasons. It's times like that I'm glad I don't discuss politics at work. You might as well argue religion. Neither of which we are allowed to discuss here. Mortal is white because there's an extremely rare Venezuelan version that is white with black gear and a chromed head. And also because the Argentinian version looks like Tommy Terrorist couldn't decide whether he wanted to be a knight or a jester so he settled on being a clown in shining armor. |

Things I've "learned" on here the last few days:
The GIJCC spelled Lethal wrong. LoL Duh. Some of the movie figures have 5 points of articulation. Kre-o sets are a waste of plastic. The GIJCC should not open registration until those that did the payment plan for the FSS have paid it off. Every single figure should be made available at retail because it will sell just like 1985 all over again. Anything else? Oh yeah. Look at me! Hey, guys! I'm making a topic. Pay attention to me!!! Wah Wah Wah Seriously...this place just keeps going down more and more lol.

If by "this place" you mean the entire planet, yeah I agree.

Still wishing we got the regular versions before the NF versions. And considering there are no guarantees that we'll ever get the regular versions, one might as well buy this if one wants those figures. I find it hard to believe they'll take up half of the next FSS with the regular versions of those figures.
NF Falcon Big Bear Dragonsky Muskrat Psyche-Out Spearhead and Max Repeater Hit and Run Charbroil Granted, we did get ME versions of Repeater (sort of), Hit and Run, and Charbroil...so maybe just the 3 that we never got at all. Who knows. I'll be shocked if they don't reveal the rest at the Con.

And so I check the front page to see what's up.
Granted, Charbroil is way off his original design but none of the color scheme really scream, "We're just wearing these 'cause we're now Night Force!" If anything, Muskrat looks a little like a Marauder. But yeah, these do look great. I, however, have an onslaught of Masterpiece figures to keep up with it would seem. Edit: And I wouldn't bet on NF Falcon not being part of the attendee packages. |
